What Happens at Kid City?
Each time you enter Kid City you will check-in your child at one of our check-in stations. Our team of volunteers will greet you, guide you through the check-in process, and personally escort you to where your child will begin their Kid City experience.
After you turn in a registration form we'll give you a Kid City security/scan card that you'll bring every time your child comes to Kid City.
After checking your child into Kid City, they'll jump into some fun games. Kids who come early can sign up to get chosen to compete in our Big Stage Games. Our crazy games bring smiles to all.
Our worship team, made up of students and teens takes the stage next. We want kids to capture a heart of worship for God.
Look at the Book
“Look at the Book” is the part of our time together where kids learn a Bible story through the use of dramas, videos, and object lessons that really bring the message to life. Each week we have one very simple truth, or as we like to call it, “Big Idea,” that we want kids to walk away with and remember.
Next, kids travel back to their small group classroom where their leaders help them understand how the week’s Big Idea can fit into their everyday life. Small group leaders at Kid City are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the TRUTH. We want kids to see how God's word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.
Families who come to the same service each week connect with the same small group of kids and the same small group leader. That way they get connected and we have the best chance to establish a relationship that's going to matter when they need it most.
End of Service
At the end of service, parents will pick up their kids from their child's small group classroom. We always match the security code on the child's nametag with the number on the parent's security tag to ensure maximum security for kids.
