East Hill's Joy of Christmas Event

This year, on December 16th, East Hill Church will be hosting our THIRD ANNUAL Joy of Christmas event for East County families facing financial hardship during the holidays. In 2022, we were able to provide gifts for 456 children. The Joy of Christmas ensures that all of the children ages Birth-8th grade in our local communities have a gift to open on Christmas morning. We will be serving children from Section-8 housing, local public schools, refugees, children experiencing homeless, foster children and many others. Our goal this year is to provide 700 children with a gift and a stocking. These children are from Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview, Wood Village and Rockwood. In order to do this, we will be partnering with the KGW Great Toy Drive, FOX 12 NEWS, Toys for Tots, East Hill Congregants, and community partners like yourself.

6 Ways to Get Involved

1 Donate brand new gifts or gift cards for children birth-8th grade (valued around $25). We have made shopping easy for you with the Amazon gift registry. Gifts can be purchased online on Amazon and shipped directly to East Hill Church.

WE WILL BE ACCEPTING DONATIONS BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1

2 Host a Toy/Gift Drive at your business for brand new, unwrapped gifts for kids ages birth-8th grade (valued around $25). Please contact us for pick-up and drop-off options. We would like to receive the gifts no later than December 10th.

3 Donate Supplies like wrapping paper, tape, scissors, ribbon. You can shop online for these items and have them delivered to the address below or drop them off at the East Hill Church office.

4 Volunteer to serve before the event or AT the event on Saturday, December 16th. ***Volunteer registration opens November 1***

5 Make a Donation to East Hill Church for “The Joy of Christmas” through the link below or by mailing a check to the address below. Choose “Local Outreach” from the drop down menu. easthill.org/give

6 Pray for the families who will be participating and for our volunteers and donors.

Toys, gift cards and supplies need to be received by Sunday, December 10th.
