Ministry Support - Kid City

20 hours/week

Primary Purpose of Position:

  • Support the spiritual development of children through administrative and technical assignments
  • Support the operations and ministry of Kid City

Key Responsibilities and Key Projects:

  • Facilitate service prep and set up, volunteer staffing, family engagement, and service cleanup for Sundays and Wednesdays
  • Assist with the planning, function and staffing of ministry events and projects
  • Develop and implement effective 4th and 5th Grade ministry, including volunteer management, curriculum oversight, and collaboration with various teams
  • Organize, maintain, and complete attendance and New Families stats
  • Provide operation, programming and volunteer staffing of A/V equipment
  • Ordering and maintaining of ministry and classroom supplies, expense tracking

Necessary For Position:

  • Able to lead and grow others, specifically children, in a relationship with Jesus
  • Active member of EHCF or become a member within 3 months of hire
  • Able to attract, inspire, train and lead volunteer teams
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity, discernment and discretion in caring for people and confidential materials
  • Effective and relational written and communication skills
  • Effective skills in time management, organization, self-initiative and working under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft/Google Office suite, ability to learn database systems and software programs currently used at EHCF
  • Ability to adapt and flex in response to changing priorities, fluctuating deadlines and interruptions
  • Minimum three years’ small and large group experience with children

Ministry Support - Operations

32 hours/week

Primary Purpose of Position:

Provide administrative support for the Operations teams: Personnel, Finance, Facilities, Housekeeping, Events, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discretionary handling of confidential and administrative matters including records retention, personnel screening, phone calls, emails, etc.
  • Budgetary assistance including check requests and credit card reconciliations, ordering and maintaining of supplies.
  • Manage membership and campus usage databases.
  • Assist with employee and volunteer screening and processes.
  • Facilitate Events planning and function.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and placement of volunteers for all areas of ministry.

Necessary For Position:

  • All candidates will be followers of Jesus Christ, believe in the works of the Holy Spirit, and adhere to the Foursquare Doctrine of Faith.
  • Active member of EHC or become a member within 3 months of hire.
  • High level of integrity, discernment and discretion in caring for people and confidential matters.
  • Effective and relational written and communication skills.
  • Time management, organizational, self-initiative, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Computer literacy with an ability to work with spreadsheets, documents, email, and to learn various software and database programs.
  • Good interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • A passion for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
  • Commitment to a job well done.
  • 3 years administrative (or similar) experience.
